Jack Frost derives from one of the most popular marijuana strains of all time, Jack Herer. The “Frost” part comes from the world renowned White Widow which was born in Holland. The strain Northern Lights #5 is also part of the lineage. Rainbow Kashmiri was also introduced into the grow a few years after the breeding of the plant began.
The combination of three of some of the most powerful strains makes Jack Frost a power to be reckoned with. With a THC content measured up to 22.6%, it hits the face almost instantly while working its way down the body creating a powerful body high mixed combined with a euphoric and creative head high.
Jack Frost has a lovely pine scent with some hints of citrus and spice. The smell is definitely one of my favourites out there, making me want to dive my nose into the bag and keep it there. When smoked from a bong or joint it creates a nice full flavour which can sometimes be a little harsh.
In the vape
The pine and citrus scent carries over into the vapour and provided a tasty vapour which leaves you licking you lips. The strain has some great terpenes and gives off great flavours when vaped at a lower temperature such as 175°c-180°c.
With small dense buds and small clusters of orange hairs, Jack Frost gets most of its shape from Jack Herer. It’s thick frosty coating however comes from it’s other parent White Widow, leaving you with a dark and light green bud covered in large crystals.
This is a great strain for those who like a strong high, as well as an equally strong taste. There’s so many different types of cannabis packed into this strain that it will have something for everyone.
