Oregon Cannabis Ban

Oregon cities have evoked temporary cannabis bans

Oregon is ones of the few states in the US where the recreational use of cannabis is legal, but there’s a bunch of cities out there that really don’t like all this legalisation stuff. There are at least 69 cities and 18 counties throughout the state that have banned retail shops or any other cannabis related business. According to news reports, as well as a list published this week by the Oregon Liquor Control Commission, some states will put the issue before voters during the general election. The folks over at Leafly marked the cities in which people will be able to vote with an asterisks(*). According to statewide law anyone over the age of 21 are free to possess and consume cannabis in private, as well as growing your own amount of plants. There’s even a state website which outlines the information.
