Glasgow Police officers searched a property in Scotland Street at 8pm yesterday and made the discovery of around 700 cannabis plants.
The plants were said to have a street value of about $430,000. However the police have been known to exaggerate these numbers in the past.
A 45-year-old man was arrested along with a 15-year-old boy in connection to the discovery and a report is being sent to the procurator fiscal.
The 45 year old will appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court next week. This cannabis raid marks another in the long line of continuing police aggression against cannabis growers.
It seems as though with the new Tory government in place cannabis law reform is set to become even more ignored by politicians. People like Theresa May are kept in their positions and continue to peddle ignorance.
